As we approach the end of the 2022/23 Premier League season, it’s almost time for FIFA 23 to reward top performers of the season with exceptional cards.
The Premier League team is highly anticipated and considered the most popular among all the Team of the Season (TOTS) leagues, with the finest players competing in the English top flight.
This season’s team will undoubtedly feature notable players from various teams, including the likes of Erling Haaland and Bukayo Saka, who have already secured their spots.
Check out the complete list of Premier League TOTS nominees below and discover the release date of this special squad in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
Latest – Moments Mitoma Leaked
With no Premier League Team of the Season cards leaked (yet!), we do know about one PL star that will receive a boost during this mega promo.
Thanks to the leaked wisdom of FUT Sheriff on Twitter, we know that Brighton sensation Karou Mitoma will receive a huge boost in Ultimate Team during Team of the Season.
Arriving as a Team of the Season Moments card, Mitoma may just become everyone’s favourite Premier League winger in FIFA 23.
Mitoma was part of the Team of the Season voting for the Premier League squad, with the Japanese star missing out on the main squad, but still being boosted all the same.
As we edge towards the arrival of the Premier League Team of the Season, you can be sure that more leaks will be coming out soon.

GK – Alisson (OVR 95)
Liverpool’s defensive woes have been there for all to see throughout the 2022/23 campaign, but one man has remained at his usual world-class level – goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
The Brazilian GK has been outstanding yet again this season, with zero errors leading to goals and ranking fifth among ‘keepers for most total saves.
RB – Kieran Trippier (OVR 93)
Kieran Trippier has been excellent for Newcastle this season. The England international is playing some of the best football of his career at St. James’ Park.
The 32-year-old has been a key contributor to the best defensive unit in the league this season, with the Magpies having only conceded 24 goals this term.
CB – William Saliba (OVR 94)
At the age of just 22, French sensation William Saliba has been THE outstanding centre-back in the Premier League this season.
Saliba is an elite ball player as well as a defensive master. Arsenal has kept 13 clean sheets so far, and would not be where they are without the France international’s contribution.
CB – Sven Botman (OVR 91)
Newcastle’s brilliant defensive record is largely down to their sensational summer signing Sven Botman.
The Dutch centre-half has been a mainstay in Eddie Howe’s starting XI since his arrival from Lille and deserves to be recognised as one of the best centre-backs in the division.
LB – Oleksandr Zinchenko (OVR 92)
Oleksandr Zinchenko has been a revelation for Arsenal since making the switch from Manchester City in the summer, completely transforming the way the Gunners play.
The Ukrainian ‘left-back’ has a unique role in Mikel Arteta’s side where he essentially operates as a playmaker and has done so with supreme footballing ability throughout the season.
CDM – Casemiro (OVR 96)
Five-time Champions League winner Casemiro somehow had doubters when he made the switch to the Premier League back in August, but nobody is questioning the Brazilian now.
Whilst the CDM position is hotly contested, Casemiro comes out on top. The former Real Madrid player has been incredible for Man United, competing for every ball in midfield and cutting through defensive lines with decisive passing.
CM – Martin Odegaard (OVR 96)
Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard is a shoo-in for the Premier League TOTS this year. The Gunners midfielder has been undeniably world-class throughout the 2022/23 campaign.
With 11 goals and eight assists to his name, Odegaard could be one of four Arsenal players included in the FIFA 23 TOTS as the North Londoners aim to lift their first title in 19 years.
CM – Kevin De Bruyne (OVR 98)
Despite perhaps falling slightly below his lofty standards, Kevin De Bruyne is still arguably the best central midfielder in world football and will no doubt make the Premier League TOTS XI.
The Belgian leads the way for assists this season with 15 and chances created with 90, whilst he has also netted seven goals in the league.
RW – Bukayo Saka (OVR 94)
Bukayo Saka became the first player to reach double digits for both goals and assists this season, with 12 goals and 10 assists to his name in the league.
The 21-year-old is thriving under Mikel Arteta and could be in with a shout for the Premier League Player of the Season award should Arsenal go on to win the title.
LW – Marcus Rashford (OVR 96)
Marcus Rashford has been electric this season. With 15 goals and four assists to his name, the 25-year-old is one of the most dangerous wingers in world football right now.
The English forward has been a key contributor to Manchester United’s success this season, which saw the Red Devils compete for four trophies deep into the campaign.
ST – Erling Haaland (OVR 98)
Erling Haaland is a certified goal-scoring machine. The Manchester City striker is scoring goals at a rate that we have NEVER seen in the Premier League before.
The Norweijan number nine has netted 32 goals in 28 league starts so far and is on course to break the Premier League record for most goals in a single campaign. Oh, and he has five assists too.
