The PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct is back September 20, and PC Gamer is happy to announce the fantastic Frankie Ward will be hosting, making it her second PC Gaming Show of the year.
Frankie is a host and presenter with years of experience. She won presenter of the year at the 2018 inaugural UK Esports Awards, and she’s hosted our own shows more times than I can count.
“We’ve got a seriously stacked show for you—lots of world premieres, brand-new trailers, reports direct from Tokyo Game Show and a whole load of exclusive treats in store,” Frankie says. “Join me on September 20 as we dive into it all!”
The reports from the show floor will be coming from PC Gamer’s Wesley Fenlon, who will be in Tokyo interviewing developers at their booths. As well as boots on the ground journalism, you can expect new trailers from over 35 games, including Stronghold 4—which we announced during the June show—and Virtue and a Sledgehammer, which just looks divine. What’s not to love about smashing up the robots invading your hometown while you also relive traumatic memories?
If all that isn’t enough, we’ll also be bringing you a deep dive on Tenebris Somnia, a retro survival horror adventure with live-action cutscenes, plus a bunch more super secret stuff I can’t share with you just yet. Luckily you’ve only got a few weeks to wait.
Tune into the show on X, Steam, YouTube, Twitch, Facebook—basically anywhere you can host a video— Sunday, September 20, at 5 pm BST, 12 pm EDT, 9 am PDT. If you’re a streamer who wants to get in on the action and co-stream the show, you can fill in this form.
