We’re still cruising around in exotic Italian cars in Forza Horizon 6 Series 3 winter season this week, but, like clockwork, we’ve got a suite of new challenges. The most fun—and challenging—one is the Hokubu region Treasure Hunt. The only clue you’re given is of a wooden house next to a snow-covered road. A pretty broad search area if you ask me.

This week’s Festival Playlist Treasure Hunt chest is in Hokubu, next to the wooden house past the fields at Shikisai-no-Oka at the centre of the region. It’s just north of the Flower Run speed trap and the Lincoln Continental Barn Find. Simply:
Travel to Shikisai-no-Oka at the centre of Hokubu. You can fast travel to the Flower Run speed trap if you’ve unlocked it.Drive north past the snow-covered farm fields towards the greenhouses and wooden building, where you’ll find the chest tucked around the corner in the parking lot.Crash into the Treasure Hunt chest to smash it, completing the challenge.
As usual, you’ll earn three Festival Playlist points, 5,000 XP, and 100,000 credits, which is a good reward for your time. You can put those credits towards the Lamborghini Huracan you’ll need for the main weekly challenge, which is frustrating because it’s going to be available for free next week. What are you playing at, Playground Games? That’s just cruel.
This week, your Festival Playlist points will go towards the 1982 Lancia 037 Stradale at 20 points, and the 2020 Ferrari Roma at 40 points. I’m pretty stoked for the former, a classic Italian powerhouse. You’ll also be one step closer to the Series’ milestone rewards, the 2024 Lamborghini Temerario and the 2022 Ferrari 296 GTB.
