Just like the original game, getting all the outfits isn’t simple in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, but for a slightly different reason. Most outfits are still bought from the merchants or crafted, but a few have moved locations for no apparent reason.
Everyone’s favourite Crimson Cloak, for example, is no longer available from the General Store. Likewise, loyalty outfits like Ezio’s robes are now behind quests. The remake also borrows a few tricks from Shadows to further complicate your wardrobe collection.
How to get all Black Flag Resynced outfits
There are 26 outfits in Resynced, or 28 if you’re counting the exclusive pre-order and Deluxe Edition bundles. You’ll get at least two outfits by default a short way into the story. You start with Duncan Walpole’s Robes for your trip to Havana, and when you leave, Cap’n Kenway will modify them, unlocking Edward Kenway’s Robes. Unlike the original game, you can swap back to Duncan’s Assassin robes if you’d rather they not be replaced.
If you’ve pre-ordered the game, you’ll be able to equip Blackbeard’s Crimson Outfit, and those with the Master Assassin pack (included in the Deluxe Edition) will also have the black and gold robes of the same name.
If you’ve played the original game, you’ll notice a few odd absences, despite Ubisoft stating that every legacy outfit would return. For example, we didn’t find the Officer and Explorer outfits, nor Ezio’s and Altair’s robes. I suspect the latter two will be available in the Exchange store in the future, however, similar to Connor’s outfit.
Here’s every other outfit you need to unlock:
