Sony has announced a Technical Presentation that will stream on Sept. 9. This isn’t a State of Play and will only be nine minutes long. In February, Sony filed a new patent related to Backward Compatibility Testing. Though the pattern doesn’t directly mention the PS3, it seems to hint at it. Due to this patent, though, it is entirely possible a PS5 Pro could feature PS3 compatibility on a hardware level.
