Embrace the player-driven economy

One of the most unique things about Albion Online is its massive focus on player economy. Every wearable item and weapon in the game is crafted by players and traded by players. The economy is affected by organic supply-and-demand, as well as the PvP system, whereby players can loot equipment off their fallen foes.
Everything you do has an impact. It’s a robust, fluctuating economy in which crafting and trade-oriented players can thrive as much as high-level adventurers, offering a ton of agency to those who want to engage in its deep mercantilism systems (as well as those seeking glory on the battlefield).
Claim and conquer

Speaking of battlefields, the territorial lay of the land is always shifting in Albion Online, as guilds seek to expand their territory in the Outlands in battles for resources, land, and glory. As a member of a Guild, you may be called into war with another guild, with large-scale conflicts taking place as guild commanders organise their troops to outwit the enemy.
Forge alliances, call for truces, and negotiate territorial splits in ways that favour your side and meet your side’s need for precious resources.
Build an island paradise

Away from the adventures and tribulations of guild wars, you can kick back on your very own island, which you can buy from the Island Merchant at any of the Royal Cities. Here, you can seek respite (or retirement) from the hardships of daily life in Albion, raising animals, building farmsteads, and of course building a home for yourself (no need to worry about PvP raiders turning up and shattering your peace).
Beyond the practical stuff like mills, alchemical labs, and farming structures, you can beautify your home with hundreds of items and furnishings, making your island retreat truly your own.
