You could spend hours exploring the Goblin Camp, and you still won’t find Halsin unless you know exactly where to look and what you’re looking for. However, we can’t blame you for missing him the first time around, as Halsin has taken on a completely different form from his normal druid-like appearance. (Spoiler: You’ve probably spotted a bear somewhere in the Shattered Sanctum)
This quick guide will walk you through where to find Halsin in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Where is Halsin the Druid in Baldur’s Gate 3?
You can find Halsin in Baldur’s Gate 3 at the Worg Pens – a room hidden deep inside the Shattered Sanctum in BG3. The coordinates on the map are X: 342 Y:31 or the eastern end of the Shattered Sanctum.
Start by entering the Heavy Oak Doors from the Goblin Camp; this will send you inside the Shattered Sanctum. Upon entry, you will find multiple goblins guarding another Heavy Oak Door leading to the Shattered Sanctum’s central part. Kill the goblins and open the second Heavy Oak Door to progress.

Once you’re inside, walk towards the middle of the Shattered Sanctum towards the sacrificial area. On the right side, you should find a set of steps that leads to an upper floor. Head up the stairs, then make your way toward the wooden bridge. After you cross the bridge, you should find a small door that leads to the Worg Pens.

There are around eight enemies inside the Worg Pens, and you’ll have to kill everyone first to find Halsin. Deal with the enemies, then head down and approach the gate on the right side. You should find Halsin disguised as a black bear this entire time. He should turn back to normal as soon as you approach him.

Halsin Missing from the Goblin Camp in Baldur’s Gate 3
If all goes well and you can get to the Worg Pens soon after you arrive at the Goblin Camp, you should be able to find and talk to Halsin without any problems. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case for many Baldur’s Gate 3 players, and some have been left scratching their heads as soon as they find out Halsin is missing from the Worg Pens.
Many factors can cause Halsin to go AWOL from the Goblin Camp. One of the more common ones is when you take too long to get to Halsin, and he breaks free from the Goblin Camp instead. When this happens, head back to the Grove and talk to Zevior. He will tell you that Halsin escaped alone and has returned to the Grove.
If the above doesn’t work for you, try doing a long rest at Camp. After doing so, some players who couldn’t find Halsin in the Worg Pens successfully triggered the cutscene with the druid. Halsin was also reportedly found in their Camp afterward as well.

Goblin Camp Location
You can find the Goblin Camp by heading west from the Blighted Village in Baldur’s Gate 3. If you’re coming from Emerald Grove, head west towards Blighted Village, then continue walking west. You should find the Goblin Camp at the western end of the map.

Before you enter the Goblin Camp, you’ll have to pass a quick dialogue check at the door, where you must roll a 15 to get through. You must deal with multiple goblins in the camp area if you fail the dialogue check. Save and reload your game until you finally roll a 15 and pass the dialogue check at the Goblin Camp.
Conclusion
Finding Halsin can be tricky due to the dialogue checks required to enter the Goblin Camp safely and the multiple enemies you’ll have to face inside the Shattered Sanctum. Nevertheless, none of the enemies inside the sanctum should pose any problems to your party, and once you’re walking freely around the camp, heading towards Halsin’s location should be a piece of cake.
