With the release of Silent Hill 2 Remake, players have quickly fallen in love with it, so it’s no surprise that many completionists are diving in for hours to chase every achievement. This includes the ‘All Seems in Order,’ a hidden achievement that only dedicated Silent Hill fans would recognize. Here’s how you can get it.

How to Discover the Secret of Room 106

To unlock the ‘All Seems in Order’ achievement in Silent Hill 2 Remake, you first need to visit Jacks Inn, which you can access after meeting Maria at Rosewater Park. Locate Room 106 and enter to collect loot, including bullets and a health drink.

While inside the room, Maria and James will engage in a dialogue. Maria remarks that the room feels cozy, while James expresses discomfort and a desire to leave immediately, hinting at something significant within the room. We’ll explain more about that later.

Head to the Brookhaven Hospital

After collecting the loot, leave the Inn, head for the Brookhaven Hospital, and follow through the story until you’re chasing after Laura outside the hospital with a ‘Letter and Wrench’ marked on your map. Head to the mark, and you’ll encounter a ringing public payphone with a letter hinting at the park.

Get the Historical Society Key in Rosewater Park

After a brief cutscene, a new mark appears on your map. Head there to reach Rosewater Park and meet Angel again in front of a statue.

After the cutscene with Angela, examine the ground in front of Jennifer Carroll’s statue to dig up a tin box containing the Historical Society Key.

Head back to Jack Inn – Room 106

Once you have acquired the Historical Society Key, head back to Jack Inn, Room 106, and examine the revealed symbol on the wall, just right above the bed headboard. This will trigger the achievement of ‘All Seems in Order.’

The Room 106 Easter Egg

It’s clearly a Silent Hill 3 Easter Egg! For those who may not know, Room 106 in Silent Hill 2 Remake at Jack Inn is similar to the room in Silent Hill 3, where Heather and Douglas stayed during their visit. There’s even a hat on the chair near the television that seemingly resembles what Douglas wears.

To top it off, the hidden symbol revealed on Room 106’s wall is the Halo of the Sun, a significant recurring emblem of the Order throughout the Silent Hill series, especially in Silent Hill 3. It frequently appears during Heather’s journey and serves as a save point for players. As the game progresses, it unravels the deeper meaning behind the symbol, including its connection to Heather’s past life.

Could this Easter Egg be a nod to a future Silent Hill 3 Remake? As a Silent Hill fan, one can only hope!
