At the recent State of Play event, Sony unveiled a new PS5 Fortnite-themed DualSense controller for gamers. This collaboration highlights the ongoing partnership between Epic Games, the creators of Fortnite, and Sony. Now, you can “earn your Victory Royales in style” with a sleek controller design inspired by the Fortnite universe.

The PS5 Fortnite Limited Edition DualSense controller is set to launch globally on November 7, 2024, for $84.99 / €84.99 / £74.99 / ¥12,480 MSRP. However, you can pre-order it on the PlayStation Store starting October 3, 2024, at 10 a.m. ET in the U.S. and 10 a.m. local time in the U.K., France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Portugal.

The time between the start of pre-orders and the global launch of the controller is just over a month. While Sony hasn’t announced the exact number of controllers available, we know it’s a limited edition. So, if you’re interested, time is of the essence!

What to Expect From the Fortnite Limited Edition Dualsense Controller

The controller features a vibrant blue base that captures the colorful vibe of the Fortnite universe. It includes various decals, like the Fortnite logo and playful graphics, which add a fun touch. On the left and right sides, you’ll see fan-favorite characters like Fishstick and Peely, which gives the design even more personality.

There are mixed opinions about this Fortnite-themed controller – especially concerning the choice of characters and the fact that it doesn’t come with any emotes, skins, or weapons. But, it still offers good value for money and isonly about a $10 increase from the standard DualSense Wireless PS5 controller.
