Just like the character of Kirby itself, Dream Buffet’s appeal comes from its simplicity, having players control these different-colored Kirby’s in some food-themed stages.
Since Kirby is notorious for his veracious appetite, the game also gives you certain power-ups for consuming specific food, all in the quest to gather the most strawberries out of each level. By the end of the game, the player whose been able to gobble up the most berries wins.
It’s simple and clean fun, which should be great for all ages. The game didn’t really get the most outstanding reviews when it released, but this should be the perfect title to share with some casual gamers you have coming over. I mean, who doesn’t love cakes and all the other sweet things in Kirby’s Dream Buffet?
